A private garden for a home

A garden with the characteristics shown in the image involves a number of technical challenges: execution, selecting the right materials, and choosing species that are both resilient and beautiful. The landscape and the plot’s topography are the constants that guide the design. Working within these premises, Jardinería Mallorquina Pujol intervenes by building planters that both retain the changes in level and manage the pressure these slopes exert on the garden. The design brings together Mallorcan stone and corten steel in perfect harmony, balanced by a vertical planting scheme and the original ground level, creating a terraced garden shaped by the site’s topography and the versatility of Mediterranean species.
